whay I publish regular DVDs using Windows DVD Maker work in any DVD player?

I made an instructional video for one of my classes mlvie the factory windows. I was published in a DVD, I have published what the file is not set to Safed, Windows DVD Maker. Can not read in any DVD player. Why?
