Why is the BIOS program from my PC to read the memory of 3326MB, but I have 4 pcs 1 GB PC667 DDR2 on board?
Information Section in my Windows Vista, memory (RAM) has also read as 3326 MB. Back to the BIOS program, said the physical memory is 4096 MB memory so that the user is 3326 MB. It seems to have 1GB of memory missing, I tried to change the 4 memory modules, but given the same score. I also tried to exchange of 3 modules at a time and read very well in all positions at random. Please Please help me, I do not know what to do here guys. Thank you! Some of us are full. Windows 32-bit Vista support 4GB of RAM. The reason you do not see this because you do not have a motherboard with a chipset that supports the mapping memory. I have Ultimate 64bit on 2 platforms, both with 4 GB XMS 667 thereof. The one with the 945P chipset which has no memory mapping shows 3299, even with Vista 64 bits. The one with the 955X chipset that has all the memory cards show 4096. The reservation system memory to run the system and equipment The more we have reservations about it. Althou show that the 3326 system still uses 4096. If you put Vista 64bit, you'll see the same thing. It is normal and has nothing to fear. Theres a rumor that SP1 is supposed that must change if the memory allocation advice without the display every 4.
