Why should I get alerts every minute of my norton antivirus every time I use BitTorrent?
When I decide sth download, Norton AntiVirus continues sending pop-ups, security alerts and even when I choose allow, it continues to send many of them literally every 30 seconds, making it impossible for me continue my work on the PC ... What are my options here? Thanx in advance!
Hi George, This is the support team if Mike Norton Authorized you have Norton AntiVirus 2008 or 2009, and receive alerts, Norton is probably a warning that file that you download may be infected, or may have infected files on your system. Open Norton AntiVirus and check records to see if it has detected infected files. manually run LiveUpdate to make sure you have the latest version program and the definition of the application files. When you're finished applying all available updates, restart the computer in Safe Mode and perform a "scan Full System "verification of infections. If an infection is found, allow Norton to remove or quarantine the files. If you happen to use Norton Internet Security, you must configure Norton firewall to allow access to the Bit Torrent client you use.
