Getting back to Windows XP from Windows Vista?
I bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop last Christmas my husband. When he had XP as the operating system. As a benefit to buy a laptop that received a refund by mail a free copy of Vista. 4 months later, we arrived and installed Vista. We do not like Vista at all! Too many compatibility problems and the computer slows down considerably. I have a copy of Windows XP, not the full version is the one that had a computer store for me. Is it possible to return to XP? I have the COA on the back and was originally XP. The only thing I can think of this work can buy a new hard disk and reinstall Windows on this point. I also tried the restore disk, but neither worked. Please answer!
You do not have to buy a new hard drive, run the Windows XP CD and delete the partition that contains the Windows Vista and install installation.Format xp.When unit will ask the product key, putting a bullet in the bottom of the laptop. Remember to save your data before doing this.
